Die Spitz Brooklyn Concert reviews
Too short of a show.
Courtney Love, the opening act, came on over 45 minutes after start time, which left Die Spitz with little time to showcase her material. Die Spitz's performance was solid. Die Spitz played for about an hour before the noise ordinance dictated the show ending time at 11 p.m. Die Spitz's touring team needs to do a better job managing the opening act, regardless of how chaotic they might be. Die Spitz's concert organizer should consider the amphitheater closing time. Die Spitz's show was really short, given the circumstances. Die Spitz mentioned during the concert that she has a new album coming out in September. The entire point of seeing her at Sleep Country Amphitheater is to hear more of her songs compared to a short festival show at Sasquatch. If you appreciate her material, you would have enjoyed the show. The shuttle bus line at the end of the show was poorly managed and became chaotic. Sleep Country Amphitheater has a waste issue that could be mitigated by allowing concertgoers to bring their own empty water bottles and providing water stations.
